About the Stud

A small programme.
An exceptional standard.

Tubbarubba Arabians has operated on the Mornington Peninsula for more than twenty years. The programme is deliberately small - Nigel Anderson breeds for quality over volume, selecting for the cardiovascular recovery rates, structural soundness, and temperament that produce genuine endurance competition horses.

Every horse sold from Tubbarubba has been bred and raised on the property. That means you know exactly what you're buying - bloodlines, history, and preparation. There are no surprises about how a horse was handled or what it's been through.

The 150-acre property in Tuerong, less than an hour from Melbourne, includes an established trail network through bushland and open pasture - the natural conditioning environment for horses going into competition.

The Property

150 acres of Mornington Peninsula.

The Tubbarubba property at Tuerong spans 150 acres of fenced paddocks, open pasture, and established bushland trail. It is one of the few facilities in Victoria specifically set up for the conditioning demands of endurance horses.

The trail network, dam access, and open terrain give horses the varied footing and environmental stimulus they need to develop properly. Visitors are welcome by appointment to see the property and watch the horses work.
